1. The competition is open to all children aged 4-11 in the UK only.
  2. Individual entries and entries from teams of up to four will be accepted.
  3. Only one entry per child will be accepted
  4. Schools may submit entries from more than one student.
  5. All entries must clearly include child (first name and initial) as well as the teacher/parent/carer name, an address including postcode, plus a contact email address.
  6. All entries must include a logo design, and the answered questions provided on the entry form.
  7. Online submissions are preferred and must be uploaded to logoliftoff.org.uk . Postal entries must be sent to FREEPOST LOGO LIFT OFF. The competition name must always appear in caps as shown. No other addressing details such as road, town or postcode should be used.
  8. The closing date for the competition is 11 March 2022.
  9. Entries will only be accepted online once all compulsory competition requirements have been included.
  10. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost or delayed in the post or incorrectly uploaded. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
  11. The panel of judges will include at least one member who is independent of the promoter. The decision of the judges is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The first prize will be awarded to the entry deemed by the judges to have met the judging criteria most comprehensively; they will be announced as the ‘national winner’.
  13. Thirteen regional winners will be selected, with one regional winner being chosen as the overall national winner. One regional winner will be chosen from each of the following regions; Scotland, Wales; Northern Ireland; East Midlands; East of England; London; North East; North West; Thames Valley and Wessex; Kent, Surrey and Sussex; South West; West Midlands; and Yorkshire and the Humber.
  14. The national winner will have their designed logo on rockets launched for the the UK in 2022.
  15. Regional winners will each receive a certificate and other prizes to be announced
  16. There is no cash alternative for any prize in this competition.
  17. Entries will not be returned to parents/schools at the end of the competition.

  19. The UK Space Agency and Launch UK reserve the right to reproduce and utilise in whole or in part the entries submitted by students for information, publicity and promotional purposes. By entering, each entrant agrees to secure agreement and authorises the use of names and addresses of the establishment to which it belongs (where relevant) and the names of participating teachers and students in any information, publicity or promotional activity linked to this competition.
